Split This Rock is a national poetry organization that is about- Calling poets to a greater role in public life and fostering a national network of socially engaged poets. 
A group of six poets from the Twin Cities have been invited to give a reading as part of the Poetry Festival in DC this April.  Louis Alemayehu , Lisa Marie Brimmer , Erin Sharkey , Coya White Hat-Artichoker , Michael Kleber-Diggs and Ellen Marie Hinchcliffe .
